8th Hole

We are now onto hole number 8, another favourite of mine, I love the undulating fairway and sloping green on this hole and despite the fact it is a fairly short hole a par is by no means guaranteed!! Despite turning in the opposite direction you still have out of bounds to the right of this hole, there are two excellently placed fairway bunkers. So I would always suggest picking a club to play short of those leaving you a mid-short iron in to a sloping green. The longer hitters may prefer to try and carry the bunkers if playing downwind leaving a flick onto the green and a much easier pitch shot into like previously mentioned a very undulating green.
